About Me

My name is Rumbi and I’m a Clinical Solution Focused Hypnotherapist and Founder of MindCalming Studio
I have 10years experience practicing as a Therapeutic Social Worker and trained in Hypnotherapy in 2024 and am a member of the Association for Professional Hypnotherapists and Psychotherapists.

My professional qualifications are as follows: 

  • MSc in Psychology
  • Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (DSFH), AfSFH (Reg) APHP(Reg)
  • Enhanced DBS, Safeguarding Certified
  • 20+ years working with children and families

What is Solution Focused Hypnotherapy?

Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is a therapeutic approach that combines principles from solution-focused brief therapy and clinical hypnotherapy. It emphasises the client’s strengths and resources rather than focusing on problems or past issues. The goal is to facilitate positive change by helping clients visualise their desired outcomes and develop strategies to achieve them.
